Cushing Bone Forceps are used in neurosurgery to remove or punch out small pieces of bone in delicate areas. The Cushing Bone Punch Forceps are primarily used in Neuro and orthopaedic spine surgery, but occasionally used in some ENT procedures involving bone near the sinuses or skill base. Unlike regular forceps the Cushing Bone Punch has a cupped shaped jaw which bites into bone to remove it cleanly and in controlled amounts.
