Distal Soak

Distal Soak is designed to keep the distal ends of laparoscopic surgical instruments moist after clinical use to facilitate cleaning

The Distal Soak comes in 2 styles Closed Cap which has a closed hole cap that is filled with solution prior to inserting the device, or Open Cap which has an open hole cap design that is used when flushing the solution through the internal channel of the device in compliance with the device manufacturers IFU.

Distal Soak should be used to help prevent the drying of gross contaminants between the operating theatre and the sterile service department.
