Sunoptic Surgical’s HDC300 HD Surgical Headlight Camera System has been designed to record surgical procedures in breathtaking high-definition, with its stabilisation technology and 30FPS recording, it has incomparable performance. The HDC300 camera can connect to any surgical light source but has been optimised to work with the incredibly powerful 400-watt light source, the TitanX400, and can be connected to monitors in the operating room for a live video feed.

The images and videos are stored on the white console’s 500GB SSD. The console is connected to a monitor via HDMI and DVI so the image can be seen live. The camera is integrated into headlight which connects to the console and to the TitanX400 light source. The camera can be controlled by the console for taking images, recordings, zoom, panning and more

Yes, you may not want to record every case, but you can still use the headlight and the TitanX400 while not connected to the HDC300 surgical camera system.

No, the storage of the HDC300 surgical camera is fixed at 500GB. The footage can however, be recorded onto a USB device simultaneously, which can be to whatever memory size the user sees fit

No, the HDC300 doesn’t have autofocus and for good reason. Due to the complex nature of the surgical site, autofocus technology struggles to look past all the movements taking place and can focus on the surgeons hands or instrumentation, instead of the procedure. This is why Sunoptic Surgical opts for quick, efficient and a deep field of view manual focus.
