The Kelly Artery Forcep is a surgical instrument used for clamping medium to large sized vessels to control bleeding. The Kelly Artery Forcep is also used for grasping and holding tissue and surgical materials such as gauze. The Kelly Forcep is used in a wide range of surgical disciplines but most commonly in General Surgery, Gynaecological Surgery and Orthopaedic Surgery. The Kelly Artery Forcep is different to a Mosquito or Crile Artery Forcep due to its half-length serration cover and its larger profile.
