The Parker Kerr Clamp is used to securely close the stump of a hollow organ to prevent spillage of contents whilst the surgeon sutures. The Parker Kerr Clamp is used in general surgery, mainly abdominal and gastrointestinal. The Parker Kerr Clamp has curved, atraumatic jaws which allows the surgeon to evert the tissue edges slightly creating leak proof closure of the organ.
