The Spencer Wells Artery Forcep is a surgical instrument used to clamp blood vessels and hold tissues. Spencer Wells Artery Forceps are one of the most common artery forceps and are used in a vast range of surgical disciplines including General Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynaecological Surgery, Urology, Orthopaedic Surgery and Vascular Surgery. The Spencer Wells Artery Forcep is used for its full serrated jaw and blunt tips. The Spencer Wells is used over a Kelly or a Crile Artery Forcep as it is slightly shorter, over a Kocher Artery Forcep as it doesn’t have 1 into 2 teeth, it is more delicate than a Rochester-Pean Artery Forcep and is larger than a Halsted Mosquito Forcep.
