Cyber Essentials is a government back scheme that looks at the effectiveness of an organisation’s ability to prevent the most common cyber attacks. The assessment looks at a company’s ability to resist the most common cyberattacks, such as phishing, malware and ransom attacks. It is suggested that having Cyber Essentials can reduce the risk of a cyber attack by up to 98.5%.
