Uniplex (UK) Ltd

Uniplex (UK) Ltd Awarded ISO 14001 Accreditation

Posted 23rd August 2021

Uniplex is very mindful of its corporate social responsibility and carbon footprint. We strive to reduce our environmental impact as much as possible by operating an environmental management system that ensures the company efficiently uses resources and waste is kept to a minimum.

To achieve the environment internationally agreed standard ISO 14001, Uniplex must have an environmental management system that helps the organisation identify, manage, monitor and control environmental issues in a holistic manner. To achieve the accreditation the auditor looked at Uniplex’s impact on air pollution, water and sewage issues, waste management, soil contamination, climate change mitigation and adaption, and resource use and efficiency. The standard ensures that Uniplex not only currently acts in an environmentally friendly way now, but will continue to do so as ISO 14001 requires an organisation to have continual improvement with an approach to environmental concerns.

Uniplex achieved accreditation in July 2021 after persistent hard work from our quality department, ensuring the company meets its environmental goals. We are proud that ISO 14001 joins our other ISO certifications (9001 & 13485), all of which can be found on our Policies & Certificates page.
