The latest development in the Sunoptic Surgical headlight portfolio, the LX2. This is a surgical headlight that delivers the bright, white light that is desired by surgeons. The newest surgical headlight in the Sunoptic range provides the user with a homogeneous spot for true tissue recognition with increased battery life by 20%.

LX2 Information
The battery-powered LED headlight offers the freedom from being tethered to a light source by fibre optic cable. The RCS headband and lightweight LED module provide stability as well as comfort. The smart surgical headlight’s battery pack notifies the user when the batteries are low with an audible sound warning, along with the clearly visible battery life on the Sunoptic battery. The LX2 is a true alternative to traditional tethered light sources.
The LX2, with a headband weighing in at 265 grams , is a great headlight for more mobility and a bright white light. Used by a range of surgeons, its bright light and lightweight feel are stand out features amongst users. This is due to the LX2 having over 1 million Lux of bright white light which helps with tissue recognition and other factors that are essential for a good surgical headlight.

SSL-5500 Information
The SSL-5500’s miniscule weight is evenly distributed around the head, providing the user with comfort and minimal distractions to perform at their optimum. The light output can be easily changed to adjust the light spot from 20-110mm at a 40cm distance, along with adjustable light intensity. The smart surgical headlight comes with a clearly visible low battery indicator for ease of use and to stop unintended disruptions during surgery.
The SSL-5500, weighing in at a lightweight 420 grams (headband without battery weighing 314 grams), is a great headlight for complete mobility and comfort. Used by a range of surgeons, its comfortability and light feel are stand out features amongst users. This is due to the vertical and horizontal adjustability of the headband which has been designed to evenly distribute the weight of the headband around the head.

Titan X400 Information
Sunoptic Surgical’s Titan X400 generates 400 watts of bright white light, providing incomparable surgical performance. The powerful surgical light source can be used for the deepest, darkest surgery, perfect for Cardiothoracic, General, Neurosurgery and any other procedure that requires the highest level of light.
The Titan X400’s powerful bright light has a variable light intensity which can be measured by the position of the slider on the front of the light source. With a 1,000 hour lamp life, the Titan X400 has a long lasting life span and replacement lamps are easy to install. The Titan X400 has an auto stand-by setting which places the light source into stand-by when a cable is removed.

The LED 4500’s bright powerful light has a 50,000 hour LED life expectancy providing a long usage time. The light intensity can be easily increased in 5% increments with a visual light intensity scale on the front of the light source for reference. The LED4500 has a compact and durable design measuring at only 28cm x 28cm x 11.5cm.
